Jung said that “wholly unprepared we take the step into the afternoon of life… and worse we take this step with the false assumption that our truths and our ideals will serve as before. But we cannot live the
afternoon of life according to the program of the morning – for what was great in the morning will be little in the evening, and what in the morning was true will in the evening have become a lie”. The transition
from the first to the second half of life is largely ignored within our culture, and little understood. In this experiential workshop, we will explore the structure and dynamics of the psyche as it moves through the
middle passage of life, creating the opportunity for wholeness and individuation. We will utilize personal journaling, poetry, music, and other symbolic material to aid us on our quest.
